Maintenance Engineer/Temporary ongoing /Norwich - 22p/h Location: Norwich Hourly Pay: 22.00 per hour Shift: Double Days, am and pm shift Job Type: Temporary ongoing Position 1 Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing operation. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer to play a key role in maintaining and improving site machinery, minimising downtime and supporting continuous improvement across the facility. You will be responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring equipment remains safe, reliable and operational while supporting production to achieve key performance targets. Key Responsibilities of Maintenance Engineer: Respond quickly and effectively to equipment breakdowns, minimising downtime and disruption to production. Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with the maintenance schedule. Diagnose faults and identify root causes to prevent recurring machinery issues. Request and manage replacement parts as required. Work closely with the Production team to improve Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and front-line maintenance practices. Support improvements to machinery reliability, efficiency and overall equipment performance. Identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes and reduce downtime.
