Multi-Trade Operative (Sub-Contractor) Must have own transport, does not need to be a van, Location: Croydon (with potential work across London) Contract Type: Self-Employed / Sub-Contractor Working Hours: Monday to Friday, typically 8:00am/9:00am to 5:00pm, with occasional weekend work available Duration: Long-term contract opportunity with ongoing work availableRole OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and reliable Multi-Trade Operative to support a large voids and refurbishment programme within social housing properties across Croydon and Greater London.The successful candidate will be a competent all-rounder with experience across a range of trades and capable of carrying out refurbishment and maintenance works to a high standard. The initial project consists of approximately 60-70 void properties, with further opportunities available across London upon successful completion.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out general property refurbishment and maintenance works.Complete basic plumbing repairs, including: Changing tapsRepairing minor leaksGeneral plumbing maintenanceUndertake basic electrical works, including: Replacing socketsReplacing light switchesMinor electrical repairs in line with regulationsPerform carpentry and joinery tasks, including: Hanging doorsFitting architraves and skirtingInstalling laminate flooringGeneral lock repairs and replacementsComplete painting and decorating works as required.Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high ..... full job details .....
