Overview

A large national Property maintenance company is looking for an experienced Painter/Decorator to be based at a large mobile site covering Cambridgeshire, including Cambridge, Peterborough, Stevenage, Hitchin, Luton, Bedford, and Haverhill. This is a permanent, full-time role within an established maintenance team.Responsibilities

Carry out responsive and planned repairs to both occupied and void properties.Undertake a variety of trade repairs and maintenance work, including minor plumbing, joinery, tiling, kitchen and bathroom fitting, etc., within a social housing setting.Receive and complete assigned tasks using a handheld device (full training provided).Work efficiently and safely in line with best practices to achieve excellent customer experience.Qualifications

NVQ Level 2 Building Maintenance Operative (or equivalent qualification).Ideally CSCS Blue Skilled Workers Card, with working Health and Safety knowledge.Customer-focused with experience in both occupied and void properties; a passion for completing high-quality repairs on time, first time.Social housing maintenance experience is desirable given the role.Must have own tools and a valid full UK driving license (held for at least 12 months).Conditions
