Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician

MTrec''s new career opportunityOur client are specialists in their industry sector, they are now looking to recruit a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician on a permanent basis.This will be a shift-based role, days and nights.Shifts Monday to Friday - week one 4 x12 hours, week two 3 x 12 hours, week three 3 x 12 hours.The Job you''ll doResponsible for ensuring safe working practices are followed at all times.Completion of effective planned preventive maintenance of equipment, tools and facilities, with an emphasis on breakdown prevention through the continual development of PPM procedures.Diagnose faults and complete reactive repairs across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems.Assist with installation, commissioning, and modification of equipment.Liaise with production, engineering, and external contractors to resolve issues quickly.Identify and order spare parts, ensuring stock is maintained at required levels.Root cause analysis of breakdowns and implementation of effective reoccurrence prevention plans using tools such as Major Breakdown Reports.Work as part of a maintenance team and demonstrate good communication skills in interfacing with other departments, suppliers, contractors and manufacturers as required.Operating access platforms including scissor lifts and cherry pickers.Use of PC for accessing information, emails and completing reports.Assisting with the training and mentoring of apprentices.About YouTo apply, we are looking for someone who has ..... full job details .....
