MTrec''s new career opportunityOur client are leaders in their industry sector, they are looking to recruit a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer on a permanent basis.The role will be working a 3 shift system ().The Job you''ll doDiagnosis and repair of special purpose equipment and make sure it works correctly.Formulation and execution of effective (value-added) planned maintenance (PM) to prevent disruption of activities.Prioritisation, validation, and completion of maintenance requests.Control of Inventory using engineering database.Pilot key equipment using maintenance key performance indicators (KPI''s) to formulate and execute improvement action plans.Mentor and support to maintenance apprentices.Additional ResponsibilitiesCapture of comprehensive maintenance data for equipment history and ''lessons learnt'' purposes.PLC fault finding using PLCs for remedial actions and process improvements.Coordinate with maintenance engineering department for external modifications and future installations.Support improvements identified through the Red Tag and 6S process.Shift handovers must be completed.Support a culture of change and improvement within the engineering department.About YouMust have served a recognised Apprenticeship and be educated to HNC or equivalent in electrical or mechanical engineering with a minimum of 3 year s post Apprenticeship experience with strong mechanical and electrical maintenance experience.Must be able to read Mechanical and Electrical drawings ..... full job details .....
