Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Location: Huddersfield Salary: 46,000 per annum Hours: 38 hours per week Double Days Permanent Opportunity Metalis Engineering Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established manufacturing business, for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team in Huddersfield.This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer to play a key role in maintaining machinery, reducing downtime and improving production efficiency within a busy manufacturing environment. The Role Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across a range of production machinery. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults. Maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, bulk handling and automated systems. Respond to breakdowns quickly to minimise production downtime. Record maintenance activities using the Sage CMMS system. Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards and relevant regulations, including PUWER. About You Apprenticeship-trained or qualified in Mechanical, Electrical or Multi-Skilled Engineering. Previous maintenance experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills. Good knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
