Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Location: Millerdale Salary: £48,000 rising to £50,000 Shift: Fixed Nights 4 on / 4 off, 6:00pm 6:00am Holidays: 25 days per annum The Opportunity I am currently recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join the engineering team at a busy manufacturing site in Millerdale. This is a fantastic opportunity for an apprentice-trained or time-served engineer who enjoys a hands-on maintenance role and has strong maintenance skills, backed up by good electrical and pneumatic knowledge. About You I am looking for an engineer who is: Apprentice trained, Level 3 qualified or time-served/equivalent. Experienced within a manufacturing, production or FMCG environment. Strong mechanically, with good electrical and pneumatic knowledge. Experienced in both PPM and reactive/breakdown maintenance. A confident fault finder who looks beyond the immediate problem to identify root cause. Practical and hands-on, with good mechanical repair and fabrication skills. Able to work independently while also contributing effectively to a small engineering team. Comfortable working under pressure and responding to production-critical breakdowns. Safety-conscious with a strong understanding of engineering and site procedures. A logical thinker who can find practical solutions to unexpected production problems.
