MS688 - Multi-Skilled Engineer (Evening Shift) Location: LintonSalary: £ Competitive Overview: First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer on behalf of one of our clients. As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining equipment, responding to breakdowns, and identifying opportunities to continuously improve performance across the site.Hours: Evening Shift Mon - Fri 5.30pm to 2am 40 hours per week.Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.Duties and Responsibilities:Delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to maximise equipment reliabilityResponding quickly and effectively to breakdowns and faultsDiagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical issuesSupporting and maintaining site services, including boilers, water systems, cooling, and fabrication equipmentIdentifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costsRecording all maintenance work accurately using a computerised maintenance system (CMMS)Working collaboratively with colleagues to support smooth site operationsSkills and Qualifications:Recognised Electrical and/or Mechanical qualification (e.g. NVQ, City and Guilds or equivalent)Strong experience in a similar engineering/maintenance roleExcellent fault-finding and problem-solving skillsGood working knowledge of: Pneumatics, Hydraulics, PLC systemsStrong mechanical skills with ..... full job details .....
