Position: Multimodal Import Operator Location: Denton, ManchesterSalary: 38,000 - 40,000 Permanent Office BasedHours: Mon-Fri 9:00 - 17:00 WR Logistics are recruiting on behalf of a leading multi-site freight forwarding group for an experienced Multimodal Import Operator to join their established team in Denton, Manchester.This is a great opportunity for someone who already has a solid grounding in freight forwarding and wants to join a business where there is genuine scope to develop their knowledge across different modes and take on more responsibility over time.The role is fully office based in Denton, working closely with an experienced team across the wider business. The RoleAs a Multimodal Import Operator, you''ll be responsible for managing import shipments from start to finish, working closely with customers, overseas agents, hauliers and internal teams to ensure everything runs smoothly.Your responsibilities will include:Managing end-to-end import shipments across multiple modesHandling FCL/LCL ocean imports and multimodal freightLiaising with overseas offices, agents, customers and suppliersArranging collections and deliveries with hauliersPreparing and checking shipping documentationManaging customs clearance and import entriesKeeping customers updated throughout the shipment processResolving operational issues and delaysEnsuring shipments are handled accurately and within agreed timescalesWorking as part of a wider operations team across multiple sitesAbout ..... full job details .....
