MOT Technician

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a highly skilled MOT Technician to join their reputable team in Romford. The successful MOT Technician will play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of vehicle safety and performance.

Duties of a MOT Technician:

• Conduct vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repairs efficiently
• Perform vehicle MOTs in compliance with legal and safety standards
• Maintain accurate documentation of all work carried out
• Ensure all vehicles meet operational and safety standards before release
• Support and share expertise with junior team members
• Maintain a high standard of workshop cleanliness and safety procedures-

Requirements of a MOT Technician:

• Proven experience as an MOT Technician
• Valid MOT license is essential
• Minimum NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent
• Strong understanding of vehicle diagnostics and repair processes
• Excellent attention to detail and adherence to safety standards
• Good organisational skills and the ability to work well within a team
• Reliable, motivated, and committed to delivering high-quality service
