MOT Technician

Our client, a reputable and family-run garage established since 2014 in Sidcup, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Vehicle Technicians / MOT Testers to join a well-respected team committed to high standards of customer service and vehicle care.

Duties:

• Conduct MOT tests in line with VOSA regulations and standards (if qualified)
• Perform servicing and repairs on all makes and models of vehicles
• Carry out diagnostic work to identify faults and recommend appropriate repairs
• Ensure all work is completed with attention to detail and high standards of quality
• Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment
• Provide excellent customer service, handling customer vehicles with care and professionalism as a-Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester
• Work collaboratively with reception staff and workshop team members

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician and MOT Tester (or relevant skills)
• MOT qualification desirable, or a strong Vehicle Technician willing to undertake MOT training
• Ability to perform diagnostics, servicing, and repairs efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Excellent communication skills and professional attitude
• Full driving licence preferred
• Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively within the workshop
