Bridging Underwriter

Borehamwood (4 days office, Fridays WFH) – moving to

Camden, Zone 2 in late 2025 .The Role

You’ll be assessing and underwriting bridging finance applications, working closely with brokers, lawyers, and surveyors to get deals over the line. Using your industry knowledge and judgement, you’ll approve loans that fit policy and confidently decline those that don’t.Key Responsibilities

Assess bridging loan applications against lending criteria and risk appetiteLiaise with brokers, legal teams, and surveyors to progress casesEnsure all loans comply with the underwriting manual and lending policySpot potential issues early and recommend solutionsCollaborate with colleagues to refine and improve processesKeep up to date with regulations and market developmentsWhat You’ll Bring
