Ivy Resource Group is seeking a skilled and experienced

Mobile Fabric Engineer

to support a growing portfolio of retail sites in the

Reading area , working on behalf of a national facilities management contract with a major household name. This is a

permanent, full-time role

offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.This is a fantastic opportunity for a multi-skilled, hands-on professional who takes pride in quality workmanship, takes a proactive approach to maintenance, and is confident working across various fabric tasks.Key Responsibilities:Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across retail and commercial sites

General building fabric works including:Flooring and ceiling repairs

Basic plumbing knowledge

Painting and decorating

Carpentry and joinery (locks, hinges, handles)

Lock fitting/repairs and door installations

Accurately specify materials and identify repair solutions

Use of mobile PDA for work reporting and updates

Represent the company professionally and liaise with customers on-site

What We''re Looking For:Proven experience in a multi-skilled fabric maintenance or handyman role

NVQ/trade qualification preferred - but strong experience also highly valued

Good knowledge across a range of general building maintenance tasks

Strong communication skills and confidence in managing client expectations

Comfortable with mobile technology/PDA systems

Full UK driving licence essential

What''s On Offer:Salary: 30,000- 32,000 per annum

Company van and fuel card

Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm (40hrs/week)

Weekend work on a rota basis at enhanced rates

25 days holiday + bank holidays
