A good opportunity for a good plumber
We''re looking for 2 Commercial Plumbers to join a growing Facilities Management business with a strong and expanding portfolio of retail and commercial sites across London and the Home Counties.
This isn''t a role where every day looks the same. You''ll have a good mix of planned maintenance, reactive repairs, fault finding and smaller installation works, travelling between sites and dealing with a variety of plumbing issues.
You''ll be trusted to get on with your work, take pride in what you do and deal with customers professionally. In return, you''ll have a solid package, a company van and the stability that comes with a growing business and a healthy pipeline of work.
The company has recently won new contracts and is continuing to expand its engineering team, so they''re looking for people who want to come in, do a good job and build something long term.
What you''ll be doing
You''ll be looking after commercial plumbing systems across a portfolio of sites, including:
- Carrying out PPMs and planned maintenance.
- Attending reactive plumbing breakdowns and repairs.
- Fault finding and diagnosing plumbing issues.
- Repairing and replacing valves, pumps, toilets, taps and pipework.
- Working with copper, plastic and stainless-steel pipework.
- Carrying out minor installations and remedial works.
- Identifying issues and recommending sensible repair solutions.
- Completing job sheets and maintenance reports.
- Working safely and following Health and Safety procedures.
- Keeping clients and site teams updated when required.
It''s a mobile role, so you''ll need to be comfortable working independently and managing your own day.
What we''re looking for
We''re looking for someone who knows commercial plumbing and takes pride in their work.
You''ll ideally have:
- Previous commercial plumbing experience.
- Experience in retail, commercial, hospitality, leisure or similar environments.
- Experience with both PPM and reactive maintenance.
- Good fault-finding and repair skills.
- Experience with commercial pipework and plumbing systems.
- A good understanding of Health and Safety.
- A full UK driving licence.
- The flexibility to travel throughout London and the South East.
Around 5 years'' experience would be advantageous, but it''s not essential.
