We are seeking a Social Worker to join the Family Support Team with immediate start. The team comprises ASYE, Social Workers, and Senior Practitioners, led by a Deputy Team Manager and a Team Manager.The team handles Child in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After Children cases, including court proceedings. Caseloads typically involve 10 families and approximately 22 children, with a mix of CIN and CP cases. More experienced staff manage court cases, with no more than 3 families at a time, including private proceedings such as Section 7 or 37 reports.Supervision occurs every 4 weeks, focusing on personal and case supervision. Due to COVID-19, staff conduct home visits within statutory timescales, and meetings are held via Microsoft Teams. Staff have access to smartphones and Surface Pro tablets, and are only required to be in the office for duty or planned work, averaging 3 times a month.The team benefits from access to FAST and SAIT for direct work, interventions, and assessments, including parenting skills, boundaries, behavior management, and specialized assessments like PAMS, Adult Attachment Interview, and Story ..... full job details .....
