Minibus Driver

Our well-established client based in Hertford are recruiting three Minibus Drivers to join their Transportation Team. This is a part time, term time permanent position, offering an hourly rate of 13.92 per hour. Successful candidates will be required to work Mon - Fri 6:30am-8:30am, 6:25pm-8:25pm and Saturday 6:30am-8:30am. Our client would also consider applicants only looking to work either the morning pattern or afternoon pattern. Job Outline: The primary objective of this role is to provide safe, reliable transport services for scheduled morning and afternoon routes. This includes general care and maintenance checks of the vehicle before and after each journey. The role may also involve fulfilling other reasonable driving-related duties as required. You will be expected to carry out your duties in accordance with company policies, procedures, emergency protocols, health and safety standards, and operational instructions. Key Responsibilities: Perform pre-use safety and condition checks on the vehicle before each journey. Maintain accurate mileage and journey logs using provided record sheets. Follow assigned pick-up and drop-off routes, ensuring timely collection and delivery of passengers. Assist with safe entry and exit from the vehicle, ensuring use of appropriate doors. Keep the vehicle clean and tidy after each shift, including removing rubbish and ensuring all seatbelts are functional and properly stowed.
