gap technical are proud to be representing one of the UK''s leading pharmaceutical manufacturers in their search for a Microbiology Technician to work at their manufacturing facility in Wrexham.
Performance Objectives
- As a QC Micro Technician at you will be a key member of the QC Micro team, working to perform viable environmental monitoring sampling and test incoming materials, intermediates and finished products.
- You will perform Microbiological testing of pharmaceuticals in tablets, liquid, semi-solid and sterile dosage forms.
- In addition, you will be able to work on your own initiative with minimal supervision and understand your accountability for the quality of work delivered.
- Ensure all microbiological activities are conducted in compliance with cGMP, SOPs, and internal quality standards.
- Operate effectively on a 2-shift rotation with flexibility and self-motivation.
- Maintain accurate and clear documentation and records in compliance with Data Integrity expectations.
Person Specification
- Degree (or equivalent) in Microbiology, Biology, or a related scientific discipline.
- Experience working in a pharmaceutical QC environment is essential.
- Solid understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
- Practical, hands-on mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow defined procedures precisely.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
