Microbiology Locum Consultant Needed In Yorkshire

On behalf of an acute district hospital in Mid Yorkshire, I am seeking an experienced Microbiology Consultant available to start ASAP for a minimum of 3 months.This locum position is likely to be extended.Working hours:

Mon – Fri, 9-17Predominantly, onsite presence is required, but there may be options for some remote work.On-call:

1 in 4 on-call dutiesMost on-call activity is remote, via telephone or electronic access; on-site attendance is only needed for significant incidents or complex cases.Duties include:Providing consultation and advisory services to colleagues within the Trust and occasionally to primary care and mental health trustsSupporting regular clinical meetings and postgraduate activitiesOffering infection prevention and control advice when the infection control lead is unavailableSharing responsibilities with other microbiology consultants to deliver an integrated clinical microbiology serviceThe location is excellent, accessible by public transport and car, with amenities nearby.To apply or for more information, please contact
