Microbiology AnalystOur client, a global contract research and manufacturing organisation supporting the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, is looking for an experienced Microbiology Analyst to join their growing team in Glasgow.This is an established GMP manufacturing site, and the business is entering an exciting growth phase - this role would suit someone who already has solid hands-on microbiology experience in a regulated industry setting and is looking to bring that expertise into a fast-paced, high-throughput environment.Please note: this role is aimed at candidates with proven GMP industry experience in a similar analyst position - it is not suitable for recent graduates or those without prior industry lab experience. What you''ll be doing:Enumeration of microbial growth from environmental monitoring plates and other microbial samplesMicrobial identification via Gram stain, spore stain and VitekSampling and testing of process water (TVC, TOC, pH)Environmental and product testing to support sterile IMP manufactureParticle count downloads and assessment''At rest'' environmental monitoringGowning and training monitoring of cleanroom operators, including maintaining personal gown qualificationInspection and growth promotion of pre-prepared and PST mediaEquipment checks - airflow, temperature (incubators, fridges, freezers), calibration checks (pipettes, water baths, etc.)Escalating system failures/deviations to senior team members in line with SOPsReporting ..... full job details .....
