MEP Manager

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced MEP Manager to oversee the mechanical, electrical, and public health works on a large high-rise construction project in Poole. This is a freelance position for approximately six months, leading the project through to successful completion and handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all MEP subcontractors on site, ensuring quality, safety, and programme compliance.

• Oversee commissioning activities, ensuring works are completed to industry standards.

• Prepare and coordinate O&M manuals in line with project requirements.

• Drive completion of all works through to practical completion and client handover.

• Liaise with the main contractor, consultants, and client representatives.

• Monitor progress, resolve on-site issues, and maintain project documentation.

Requirements

• Proven track record as an MEP Manager on large-scale construction projects.

• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, commissioning processes, and quality standards.

• Excellent coordination and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and deliver to tight deadlines.

• SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and relevant trade/engineering qualifications preferred.
