The Role
Salter Grange are currently seeking a highly motivated MEP Design Coordinator to join a main contractor based in Paddington. You will be responsible for coordinating the mechanical and electrical designs across three or more high rise residential and student accommodation projects.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to step into the contractor environment and take ownership of delivering integrated, buildable MEP solutions from pre-construction through to handover.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate MEP design development across all project stages
• Act as the key interface between design consultants, subcontractors, and in house teams
• Review drawings and specifications to ensure compliance, quality, and buildability
• Identify design risks, constraints, and opportunities for value engineering
• Manage design approvals and ensure timely issue of coordinated information
• Support project delivery during installation, commissioning, and final handover

• Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering (essential)
• Background in design consultancy with experience in MEP design coordination
• Strong technical knowledge of building services in large scale residential or student accommodation projects
• Experience with high rise developments is highly desirable
• Ambitious and proactive, with a genuine interest in transitioning to a main contractor environment
