MEP Design Manager

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for a seasoned MEP Design Manager to join a global engineering and consultancy firm, on an 18-month contract basis, Inside IR35. The chosen candidate will be expected to work on a hybrid basis, from our client''s London site, 3 days a week. Within this role you will have the opportunity to lead and manage a large-scale rail project, though the 4th and 5th Stages, working alongside other professionals to reach the project''s completion.-Competitive day rate ranging from 500- 650 (depending on experience)-Hybrid working arrangement (3 days on-site and 2 days from home)Responsibilities:-Lead the design deliverables, through Stages 4 and 5, gathered from the supply chain, ensuring that timelines, quality, and compliance to project standards are being met.-Manage the collaboration between multidisciplinary teams to allow for efficient query resolution and transparent communication.-Collaborate with engineering, delivery, and assurance teams to accurately locate design risks and challenges, scope gaps, and communication issues.-Foster safe design practices for maintenance, construction, and operation, whilst also ensuring the project complies with CDM regulations.- Keep up to date with the projects progress and development, through site visits and documentation, reporting any risks to the commercial and delivery teams.-Assist with the subcontract management and cost reconciliation process throughout the project''s ..... full job details .....
