Every child deserves someone who believes in them. By becoming a Mentor for Prospero Teaching, you can provide encouragement, guidance, and support to children who need a positive role model in their lives.

As a mentor, you''ll provide a safe and supportive relationship that can have a lifelong impact. It''s about being a consistent role model, sharing life experiences, and helping children build confidence, resilience, and hope for the future.

• Location: Bournemouth
• Position: 1:1 Mentoring
• Start date: ASAP
• End date: Ongoing
• Full time/part-time: Full time (5 days a week)
• Minimum rate of pay: -20 - -25 per hour

Experience, Training and Qualifications needed:

• A genuine interest in working with children and young people
• Patience, empathy, and good listening skills
• Reliability and consistency (able to commit time regularly)
• Worked with young people for a minimum of 6 months.

To be eligible for this role, you must:

• Hold the right to work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child-related references.
