Are you looking to start a rewarding school-based role immediately, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position?We are working in partnership with schools across Corby who are seeking dedicated Mental Health Teaching Assistants to join their teams as soon as possible. These full-time, temporary to permanent roles involve supporting students with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs within inclusive, nurturing educational environments where wellbeing and pastoral care are a key priority.About the Role:Provide one-to-one and small-group support for pupils experiencing anxiety, low mood, behavioural challenges, trauma-related needs, or difficulties with emotional regulationSupport students in developing resilience, confidence, emotional literacy, and positive coping strategiesWork closely with class teachers, SENCOs, pastoral leads, and safeguarding teams to implement and review tailored support plansAssist in delivering targeted interventions and wellbeing programmes within the school settingPromote a calm, structured, and supportive learning environment throughout the school day, including during unstructured timesMonitor, record, and report on student progress in line with school policies and safeguarding proceduresContribute to a whole-school ..... full job details .....
