Medical Receptionist

Full Time and Part Time Hours Available
Salary:
£12.21 increasing on successful completion of probationary period
Key Responsibilities
Greet and welcome patients in a professional and friendly manner in person and via telephone
Manage patient appointments and scheduling of home visits
Handle incoming calls and direct inquiries appropriately and professionally
Maintain accurate patient records
Timely, confidential and accurate processing of incoming mail
Other administrative duties that are required from time to time to support excellence in clinical service to the patient
Effective actioning of task messages including telephoning patients, medication tasks, pathology results and email management
Coordinate communication between patients, medical staff, and external parties
Requirements
Driving license is essential to work across 2 locations: Wetherby Surgery and Bramham Medical Centre
Previous experience in a medical or admin role preferred but not essential; training is provided
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Friendly and patient-centred attitude
