Mechanical Technician Roles and Responsibilities: Inspect aircraft seats and diagnose repair requirementsDisassemble, clean and prepare seat assemblies for repairCarry out mechanical repairs and component replacementsReassemble aircraft seat sets to approved standards and deadlinesWork in accordance with technical manuals and repair instructionsComplete all work in compliance with Part 145 regulatory requirementsFollow company procedures, quality standards and health and safety policiesMaintain high standards of workshop housekeeping and organisationAccurately complete all required documentation and system recordsContribute positively to team performance and continuous improvement initiatives Mechanical Technician Ideal Candidate: Previous experience as a Mechanical TechnicianStrong mechanical aptitude and hands-on repair experienceAbility to interpret and follow technical documentationGood attention to detail and commitment to quality standardsStrong work ethic and willingness to learnTeam-focused attitude with the ability to work independently when requiredBasic IT skills, including Microsoft Word and ExcelExperience in aircraft seating, trimming, upholstery, automotive manufacturing or similar industriesKnowledge of commercial aerospace maintenance ..... full job details .....
