This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of aircraft components within a fast-paced and quality-driven aerospace environment. Mechanical Technician Roles and Responsibilities: Inspect and diagnose aircraft mechanical componentsDisassemble, clean and assess components for repairCarry out repairs and replace parts as requiredReassemble components to approved standards and deadlinesWork from technical manuals and engineering publicationsEnsure all work complies with Part 145 and company proceduresMaintain high standards of quality, safety and housekeepingAccurately complete all required documentation and system updatesContribute to a positive team environment and continuous improvement activities Mechanical Technician Ideal Candidate: Experience as a Mechanical Technician, preferably within aerospace, automotive or manufacturing environmentsAn understanding of engineering drawings and technical publicationsKnowledge of commercial aerospace practices (desirable)A recognised engineering qualification (BTEC, ONC, HNC/HND or similar) is advantageous but not essentialGood IT skills, including Microsoft Word and ExcelA proactive attitude, strong work ethic and excellent attention to detailThe ability to work both independently and as part of a team Mechanical Technician Working Hours ..... full job details .....
