Mechanical Technician

Job Title: Mechanical Technician Salary: Negotiable Location: Stansted, Essex Aeropeople have partnered with a global designer and manufacturer of electronic instruments and electromechanical devices who are now looking to hire a permanent Mechanical Technician, to be based at their site in Stansted. The successful candidate would be expected to be on site 5 days per week. Established more than 60 years ago, the company employ more than 21,000 employees in 35 different countries. As a global manufacturer of electronic instruments and electromechanical devices they offer specialised services for more than 5,000 components over a variety of aircraft systems with capabilities covering aircraft windings, electrical power, hydraulic components, landing gear and safety equipment s. This role is working a 39 hour week. Hours of work are Monday- Thursday: 8am- 4.30pm and Friday: 8am- 4pm. Main Responsibilities: Disassemble, test, fault find and repair various safety equipment for slides, rafts and their sub components. Reassemble a variety of safety equipment, slides, rafts and their sub components in accordance with CMM s / OHM s and OEM packing instructions. Benefits: Basic salary ..... full job details .....
