Mechanical Systems Design Engineer

We are looking for a Mechanical Systems Design Engineer to support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of mechanical systems for complex defence-related products. You will be responsible for supporting mechanical design activities across the full product lifecycle, including design, prototyping, testing, and ongoing product improvements in line with engineering standards and business requirements. Key Responsibilities Support mechanical design and development activities in line with engineering processes Improve and maintain existing product mechanical designs Produce engineering drawings and technical documentation Support cost and timescale estimation for design projects Assist with prototyping and testing of new equipment Implement drawing changes and design updates as required Occasional UK travel may be required Requirements Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline Ability to work independently and as part of a ..... full job details .....
