Mechanical SupervisorLocation: HalifaxJob Type: PermanentHours: 40 hours per weekSector: Facilities Management / Public SectorOur client, a leading Facilities Management provider, is looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to support a large public sector site in Halifax.You will supervise a multi-skilled maintenance team and service partners, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of critical building services across the site.This is a hands-on supervisory role suited to someone with a strong mechanical background who can provide technical support to engineers while overseeing day-to-day maintenance activity.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and support a multi-skilled maintenance teamOversee planned and reactive mechanical maintenanceEnsure plant inspections, servicing and repairs are completed effectivelyMaintain compliance with Health and Safety, site procedures and contractual requirementsProvide technical support to engineers across mechanical systemsSupport planned shutdowns and maintenance worksLiaise with site management and other stakeholders to minimise disruptionMaintain accurate maintenance and compliance recordsSupport internal and external auditsMonitor materials, equipment and resources to ensure efficient service deliveryRequirementsMechanical bias, including HVAC, Plumbing, Gas or similarMinimum NVQ Level 3 mechanical qualificationPrevious experience within a Supervisor or Team Leader positionStrong commercial building maintenance ..... full job details .....
