Mechanical Project Manager

Location: North Acton, West London Sector: Major Infrastructure / MandE Start: Immediate Employment Type: Permanent An experienced Mechanical Project Manager is required to join a leading MandE contractor delivering a major infrastructure project in West London. This position will take responsibility for the management and delivery of mechanical packages, working closely with the site construction team, commercial department, engineering team and client. Key Responsibilities Manage mechanical packages from planning and procurement through to installation, commissioning and handover. Coordinate Construction Managers, Engineers, subcontractors and specialist suppliers. Manage project programme, progress and key delivery milestones. Review drawings, specifications and technical information. Work closely with commercial teams to monitor project costs, variations and procurement. Manage subcontractor performance and package delivery. Lead progress and coordination meetings. Identify project risks and implement appropriate solutions. Ensure mechanical works meet required quality and technical standards. Coordinate with electrical, civil and other project disciplines. Oversee commissioning, snagging, OandM information and project close-out. Maintain strong relationships with the client and wider project team.
