Mechanical Project Manager

Client: Our client is a Mechanical Contractor who have been operating for 10+ years and specialise in the Commercial Office Fit Out sector (Cat A / Cat B). They stereotypically take on full mechanical systems. All projects tend to be fast paced and value between £300k - £3m. Role: Mechanical Project Manager - East London/Central London - Up to £450 per day CIS or Ltd Company The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a £300k - £3m project reporting into the Managing Director. The project will be a commercial office fit out. Key to this role is managing the project at site level; ensuring it is completed on time, to a high quality and within budget. Responsibilities: Tender review/validation Design Management (reviewing design liaising with client, main contractor and consultants) Procurement of subcontractors, kit and plant Technical submittals RFIs Liaison with client team, main contractor and sub contractors Value Engineering where applicable Programming of works Health and Safety management (RAMs) Commercial Responsibility, assisting with sub contractor variation accounts working alongside project specific Quantity Survey. Management of variations Team Coordination Progress meetings with sub contractors, client and internal meetings Overseeing commissioning stages Formulation of OM Manuals and client handover The ideal candidate: Have 3-5 years experience managing multi-disciplined Mechanical Services Installations.
