Mechanical Manager

We are recruiting for an experienced MandE Manager (Mechanical Bias) to join a leading Tier 1 main contractor delivering major new-build project in Brentford. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the management and coordination of mechanical and electrical building services, working closely with the project, design and commercial teams to ensure MandE packages are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards. Key Responsibilities Manage the delivery of mechanical and electrical services throughout the project lifecycle Coordinate MandE design, installation, commissioning and handover activities Manage and monitor specialist MandE subcontractors Work closely with Project Managers, Site Managers, Design Managers and commercial teams Review MandE designs, drawings, specifications and technical submissions Identify and resolve design coordination and buildability issues Ensure MandE installations are delivered in accordance with approved designs and specifications Monitor progress against the construction programme and key project milestones Coordinate building services with structural, architectural and other construction packages Chair and attend MandE coordination and progress meetings Monitor subcontractor performance, quality and programme Manage technical queries, RFIs and design changes Ensure testing, commissioning and witnessing requirements are properly planned and completed Coordinate commissioning programmes ..... full job details .....
