Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Monday to Friday Afternoon or Night Shift PermanentWe''re looking for a mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer to join an established industrial operation in Doncaster.This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on planned preventative maintenance, keeping machinery running reliably and dealing with breakdowns when they occur.The RoleCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on industrial machinery and equipmentDiagnose and repair mechanical and pneumatic faultsRespond to breakdowns and minimise downtimeUndertake basic electrical maintenance and fault finding when requiredCarry out inspections, repairs and general maintenanceHelp improve equipment reliability and performanceWhat We''re Looking ForStrong mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial environmentGood pneumatic knowledge and practical experience are essentialBasic electrical fault-finding abilityExperience with hydraulics would be beneficialFLT and/or HGV maintenance experience would be a real advantageA practical, hands-on approach to fault finding and maintenanceThere is dedicated electrical expertise on site, so we''re not looking for a fully multi-skilled engineer. Mechanical ability is the priority.Shifts and PackageMonday to Friday, with a choice of:Afternoons: 2pm-10.30pm 37,960Nights: 10pm-6.30am 39,000Plus a quarterly performance bonus of 300, subject to meeting KPIs.
