Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are recruiting for:We are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a permanent position based with our client in RotherhamImmediate start available (subject to interview process)Salary is 47,957 per annum (dependent on experience)The RoleAs an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency of our production machinery. You will handle a mix of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and rapid reactive breakdown response.Key Responsibilities:Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical faults on automated manufacturing machinery.Execute planned maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and prevent breakdowns.Work on PLC systems (fault finding and basic programming modifications).Maintain AC/DC drives, motors, sensors, and control panels.Collaborate with mechanical engineers to resolve multidisciplinary equipment issues.Uphold strict health and safety standards across the site at all times.What We Are Looking ForQualifications: Level 3 electrical qualification (e.g., City and Guilds, NVQ, or an approved apprenticeship).Experience: Proven track record in an industrial, manufacturing, or heavy engineering environment.Technical Skills: Strong electrical fault-finding capabilities, including experience with PLCs and automated systems.Mindset: A proactive problem solver who works well under pressure and thrives in a fast-paced environment.In the first instance, send CV''s to ..... full job details .....
