Mechanical Technical Lead - Renewable Technologies Kent - Hybrid £52,471 per annum Venn Group''s specialist Estates and Asset Management recruitment team is recruiting for a MechanicalTechnical Lead - Renewable Technologies on behalf of a leading housing organisation based in Kent. This permanent opportunity offers the chance to play a key role in delivering renewable energy solutions, improving asset performance, and supporting the transition to low-carbon heating technologies across a large property portfolio. The Role You will be responsible for: Acting as the technical lead and subject matter expert for renewable technologies, including air source heat pumps and solar PV systems. Diagnosing complex faults, improving asset performance, and supporting repairs teams with specialist technical advice. Developing and maintaining technical standards, procedures, and best-practice guidance for renewable technologies. Delivering coaching, mentoring, and technical training to operational teams to improve service delivery and first-time fix rates. Supporting long-term sustainability strategies, investment planning, and lifecycle management of renewable assets. Working closely with manufacturers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure quality installations, compliance, and continuous improvement.
