Mechanical Fitter

My client, a specialist high precision component and machine manufacturer, have a fantastic opportunity for a Mechanical Fitter. What s on offer: Working pattern 4 days Monday Thursday! Overtime available Overseas travel occasionally Great company team and culture Excellent pension scheme and life assurance Free onsite parking Sick pay scheme and cash health plan The Job: Build sub-assemblies from component level following schematics. Work to tight tolerances (-10 microns) Working on complex machine builds Maintenance of refurb of heavy machinery Working experience of hydraulics and pneumatics would be an advantage. Confident with bearings, gears, and machine alignment About you: Mechanical trained with the ability to build a component from start to finish. Experience of multi axis precision machinery Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics. Confidence and the ability to work in a precision engineering environment and the ability to work on bespoke and one-off items.
