Mechanical Fitter

Futures are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join a well-established UK engineering and manufacturing business.This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled, hands-on mechanical professional who enjoys working within a busy engineering environment and takes pride in delivering work to a high standard. You ll play an important part in the assembly, fitting and installation of engineered equipment and components, ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately and in line with technical requirements.Working as part of the engineering and production team, your responsibilities will include:Roles and Responsibilities Completing mechanical fitting and assembly of engineered equipment, machinery and componentsWorking accurately from engineering drawings, technical specifications and work instructionsUsing a range of hand tools, power tools and measuring equipmentCarrying out drilling, tapping, bolting and other general fitting activitiesEnsuring components are correctly positioned, aligned, fitted and securedPerforming checks and inspections throughout the assembly processIdentifying and reporting any faults, defects or fitting issuesLiaising with engineering, production and quality teams to ensure work meets required standardsMaintaining a clean, organised and safe working environmentFollowing all company and site health and safety procedures The Ideal Candidate Previous experience working as a Mechanical Fitter, Assembly Fitter, Mechanical ..... full job details .....
