Mechanical Fitter

We are recruiting for our client who is a global engineering business specialising in the design, manufacture, and assembly of high-precision industrial equipment and advanced process systems. Due to growth, we are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter / Industrial Assembler / Maintenance Fitter to join our clients production team. This role is ideal for a time-served mechanical fitter with experience in industrial assembly, mechanical systems, and precision installation, who can work confidently from engineering drawings and take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship. Key Responsibilities Mechanical assembly and testing of industrial systems, including: Water systems: manifolds, pump skids, and interconnections using materials such as mild steel, stainless steel, and copper (brazing experience advantageous) Pneumatics: installing and routing pneumatic lines, valves, and air islands Vacuum systems: installation of vacuum pipelines and components (bolted connections) Inert gas systems: running gas lines to devices using materials such as stainless steel Carry out fault finding, inspection, and quality checks on mechanical systems Perform vacuum and pressure testing of components and assemblies Conduct on-site repairs and installations at customer facilities as required Support other mechanical assembly duties requiring precision and attention to detail Skills and Experience Required Time-served mechanical fitter with industrial assembly experience Experience working ..... full job details .....
