Mechanical FitterLocation: Nuneaton, Warwickshire Salary: Up to 50,000 per annumWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Fitter / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established process manufacturing business based in Nuneaton.This is a fantastic opportunity for a mechanically biased engineer who enjoys working in a hands-on, heavy industrial environment and wants a days-only shift pattern with no nights.You will be responsible for the day-to-day mechanical maintenance of a busy production facility, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance to ensure machinery remains reliable and downtime is kept to a minimum.The role would suit someone from a heavy engineering, recycling, waste, aggregates, quarrying, food processing, chemical, manufacturing or similar industrial background who is comfortable working on a wide variety of mechanical plant and machinery.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across plant and machineryRespond to breakdowns and carry out reactive mechanical maintenanceDiagnose and repair mechanical faults to minimise production downtimeMaintain and repair conveyors, gearboxes, motors and associated equipmentWork with hydraulic and pneumatic systemsInstall, maintain and modify new and existing plant equipmentCarry out mechanical engineering routines in line with the site''s maintenance programmeComplete risk assessments before undertaking maintenance activitiesComplete maintenance logs, job sheets ..... full job details .....
