Mechanical Engineering Training Officer

Our client, a well-established training provider in the North West, is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Training Officer to support apprentices throughout their learning journey. This permanent role involves delivering high-quality teaching, assessment and mentoring, helping learners develop the technical skills, knowledge and behaviours required to complete their engineering apprenticeship and progress into employment. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging engineering teaching, workshops and one-to-one support in-centre and in the workplace Support learners from initial assessment through to gateway and End Point Assessment (EPA) Plan and deliver schemes of work, lesson plans and relevant learning resources Assess learners'' skills, knowledge and behaviours in line with apprenticeship standards Mark work and provide constructive feedback to support learner improvement Embed and assess Functional Skills where appropriate Prepare learners for examinations, mock assessments and EPA Carry out regular learner and employer reviews, maintaining accurate training plans and learner records using OneFile Employer and Learner Engagement: Liaise with employers to understand apprenticeship and training requirements Coordinate off-the-job training with workshop tutors Build strong relationships with employers and maintain engagement throughout each programme Provide effective Information, Advice and Guidance during and at the end of the apprenticeship Quality, Safeguarding and ..... full job details .....
