Mechanical Engineer - New Build EFW Power StationExcellent salary + 14% Bonus + Pension + OvertimeTilbury, Essex SCINERGY Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer to join a brand-new Energy from Waste power station in Tilbury, Essex.This new EFW facility is currently under construction and, once operational, will process over 350,000 tonnes of waste per year while generating enough energy to power the equivalent of 93,000 homes. As the Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for the site''s mechanical engineering and maintenance activities, ensuring safe operation, long-term reliability and high plant availability.Reporting to the Engineering and Maintenance Manager, you will lead the mechanical maintenance function, supervise teams and contractors, plan maintenance activities and manage workshops and stores.
