The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining critical mechanical plant and ensuring the smooth operation of university buildings across the campus.The RoleReporting to the Engineering Supervisor, you will be responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of a wide range of mechanical systems and building services equipment.Key duties will include:Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive mechanical maintenance.Maintaining and fault-finding on HVAC systems, pumps, motors, valves, pipework and associated plant.Working on heating, hot and cold water systems, chilled water systems and general building services infrastructure.Monitoring building plant performance and responding to engineering faults.Assisting with statutory compliance checks and ensuring all records are accurately maintained.Supporting minor installation and project works as required.Liaising with colleagues, contractors and university stakeholders to ..... full job details .....
