Mechanical Engineer

The Opportunity We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a growing and innovative engineering organisation based in the North East. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of technically challenging projects across sectors including renewable energy, industrial manufacturing, infrastructure, utilities, and process engineering. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, development, and delivery of mechanical engineering solutions while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities Design and develop mechanical systems, equipment, and components. Produce and review engineering calculations, specifications, and technical documentation. Support project delivery from concept through to commissioning. Conduct site surveys, inspections, and technical assessments. Collaborate with internal teams, clients, contractors, and suppliers. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company procedures. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for operational and project-related challenges. Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and engineering best practices. Support cost control, project planning, and risk management activities.
