Mechanical Engineer

Mechanical Engineer, East Kilbride We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer to join a leading facilities and engineering services provider on a prestigious and highly secure contract. This is a rare opportunity for a mechanically biased engineer with experience working on industrial plant, boilers, heavy mechanical equipment. The successful candidate will join a well-established engineering team responsible for maintaining critical mechanical assets across a large site. Key Responsibilities Planned and reactive maintenance of mechanical plant and equipment Routine boiler checks, inspections, blowdowns and associated maintenance Fault finding and repair of mechanical systems Supporting statutory compliance and safe system operation Requirements Strong mechanical maintenance background Experience working within industrial, manufacturing, process, utilities or heavy engineering environments Knowledge of steam boilers or boiler house operations would be advantageous Welding and fabrication experience Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical faults independently Strong understanding of health and safety procedures What''s on Offer Stable, long-term contract with a recognised industry leader Additional training and development opportunities Overtime and call out earning potential ..... full job details .....
