Mechanical Engineer

Location: Blyth, Northumberland Salary: Competitive Sector: Data Centres / Building Services We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a major data centre project in Blyth. This is an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer with a building services or mechanical construction background to work on a large-scale, high-specification project. The role You will support the delivery and coordination of mechanical works on site, working closely with subcontractors, engineers, the design team and wider project management team to ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards. Responsibilities Coordinate and support the delivery of mechanical works across the project Review drawings, specifications and technical submittals Coordinate daily mechanical activities with subcontractors and site teams Monitor progress and provide updates to the project team Support site QA/QC processes, inspections and installation checks Liaise with the design team and manage RFIs and construction information Attend site, engineering, planning and coordination meetings Maintain project documentation and technical records Assist with identifying and resolving technical and coordination issues Support the management and close-out of mechanical snagging Assist with tracking variations and progress claims Requirements Degree/HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related ..... full job details .....
