Senior Mechanical Engineer - Data Centre ConstructionLocation: Blyth, Northumberland3D Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a leading international main contractor specialising in the delivery of major data centre and mission-critical construction projects.Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to oversee mechanical engineering and package delivery on a major data centre development in Blyth, Northumberland.This is a senior position requiring previous data centre construction experience and a strong technical understanding of large-scale mechanical building services installations.The RoleReport directly to the MEP Lead and manage a team of mechanical Package ManagersCoordinate mechanical construction activities including HVAC, pipework and associated systemsManage technical submittals, RFIs and engineering documentationOversee mechanical installation sequencing and coordination with other tradesReview RAMS and ensure mechanical works are delivered in accordance with project requirementsCoordinate mechanical commissioning scripts and testing proceduresSupport subcontractor valuations, commercial assessments and final account processesManage technical issues and support programme deliveryOversee OandM documentation, quality close-out and handover requirementsLiaise with design, construction and commissioning teams throughout the projectCandidate RequirementsPrevious data centre construction experience is essentialDegree in Mechanical or Building ..... full job details .....
