Key Experience Concept design through to detailed product design. Producing CAD models and Engineering drawings to the requirements of BS 8888. Selection of Engineering materials. Knowledge of manufacturing technologies and processes. Production support, documentation and assembly and test tooling. Liaise with sub-contractors for the manufacture of mechanical parts. Key Attributes A degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification. Packaging of electronic assemblies (EMC, power dissipation etc). Background knowledge of Electro-magnetics. Understanding of sensor and transducer technologies. Experience of low volume manufacturing. Able to work off own initiative or as part of a team. Self-motivated with a hands-on approach.
