Job Overview We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with high proficiency in Solidworks, who has worked the full product life cycle, who has strong manufacturing knowledge. Providing full design project support to the internal engineering team, supporting the successful completion of projects to time and within budgeted costs. Job Responsibilities Preparation of technical designs or drawings Assisting with the assessment of factual and interpretive information arising from field observations, site investigations, and technical review Managing the delivery of a small programme of work, associated with a project, with minimal supervision Assisting the engineering team in carrying out feasibility studies and the assessment of environmental impact of remedial and completed works Skill Required Trained in Engineering Discipline (HND, HNC, Degree etc) Concept to Inception Design experience Must be a Solidworks user Ideally coming from Manufacturing environment, Heavy Engineering, Oil and Gas, Offshore Wind or Subsea industries Compensation and Other Benefits Competitive salary determined by experience ( 35k to 45k) Hybrid work (3 days core in office, following successful probation to allow you to get up to speed with products and projects) Holiday (26 Days + 8 BH), Pension, Life Assurance, and Private Healthcare Please note that our clients are unable to offer sponsorship for employment visas.
