Based at their Rochdale headquarters, which includes an 8-acre production facility, they are continuing to expand their team.The RoleYou will be a key part of the mechanical engineering team, designing industrial burners, associated heating equipment and complete energy centres. Using SolidWorks for design and simulation, you will work on a variety of bespoke projects, while maintaining accurate technical documentation and liaising with the shop floor to monitor project progress.Key Responsibilities Design industrial burners, associated heating equipment and energy centresUse SolidWorks for mechanical design and simulationWork with ePDM and other simulation toolsPrepare and maintain accurate technical documentation, manuals and parts listsWork closely with the shop floor to monitor the progress of ongoing jobsCollaborate with the mechanical engineering team across multiple projectsCarry out site visits for pre-installation checks as required RequirementsEssential Proven engineering experienceA solid understanding of SolidWorks and previous experience using itGood documentation skillsExcellent time management skillsOrganised, with the ability to work on own initiativeEffective communication ..... full job details .....
